Photographer's Note
During a walk in the park of the Castle of Chambord, It was hard to me to make some photographs because of the crowd of tourists present this day there. I had the idea to photograph the old bridge in a rather original way. I carried out to it setting my lens on the stone so as to obtain the bottom out of DOF on the other side of the arch.

Belle symétrie, on dirait l'alvéole d'un bloc de béton... Les couleurs et la réflection sont géniales. Bravo!

nice simmetry, very sharp, the composition works so good (if you crop the shot so it gets only one arch, it woudln't be so great). Great job.

Beautiful warm colours. Nice and sharp. Good idea to move in close when the whole picture would be spoiled by crowds. Interesting composition incorporating the reflection to create a pattern. I would also like it if there was a boat just entering the arch on the right. Then it would work both as an abstract and as reality, the boat putting the picture into perspective.

I love reflections off water. I think i said the same about someone elses photo as well. This one is well exposed I thought and has allot of detail. it has an almost perfect rounded square with the reflection that I really like. As Im sitting here looking at it and thinking what would I have done one thing comes to mind. I would have tried to crop out the left side up to the point where the vertical line of the stone is. I say this because the pridge and the water give it a mirror symetry effect verticaly. I owuld try to keep that going horizontaly as well maybe. but really good exposure of hte bridge and hte water reflection.

To Crop or or Not to crop? That's the question... And I want to know! ;o)
It's a lovely sharp image, let's try...

I could add a third cropped version, giving or taking a couple of mm, but I am not going to do that. Your photo is nice and shar, the colours are perfect. The croppings are very nice too, and I couldn't say who won. This version gives more the impression of being a bridge...A very difficult decision.

Vraiment splendide. Bravo.

Nice composition, very sharp and excellent colors. I like how the reflection gradually becomes more and more distorted further down in the picture (which of course usually is the case with this kind of picture). I also like that you see some fields in the background.

This is really nice said. I agree with mathiasmo, that croping away the other arc may destroy the pic and make it look rather boring. Now, it looks intresting. Nice sharpnesss and nice colours.

I just want to give you a big smile for this excellent shot. I like this image just as it is now. Very well done.

Perfect, well balanced symetrical shot ! Very clean and crisp.
Wouldn't crop a pixel or else it would look less like a bridge.

Just one word - manjefique! In French and Afrikaans it is the same meaning, and totally applicable to this picture, a perfect reflection and tectures, also a great composition!!!

Excelent reflection! When in full size it's even better than in the thumbnail because of the texture in the water.
Great warm colors and point of view. Your crop is excellent because the cut arch creates the notion the the structure continues.

Such esthetic conditions are difficult to find. Very well observed and achieved. The stones around the passage look like a frame around a perfectly regular shape. Just the shape's perspective and the different ways to look at it is already a pleasure for for the eye. Very nice composition, Saïd!

A interesting photo opportunity well spotted, Didi. Very simple but well composed with the symmetrical reflection and capturing some nice warm colours. Good sharpness and exposure. Cheers . . . David
