With a single word, this photo is "cool".
With cold colors, dark tonalities, deep contrasts, icy reflections...
Yet, it would be the perfect place to visit right now. I loved it.

this must be heaven on earth... what a lucky family who owns this place... (if your house i am coming to visit you next weekend!>:P...) and you show it the best way possible i think, in vertical format, including the reflection also...

no car, no TV, no job if possible plese... i want to live there for the rest of my life away from the rest of the world...

Je sais bien que la Dordogne a la réputation d'un fleuve tranquille, mais ta photo l'exprime avec force. On sent bien qu'il ne doit pas y avoir de un trafic monstre dans le coin.

Bonjour.
Il y a des coins comme celui-ci qui font rêver. Rêver de se laisser glisser au fil de l'eau sur une gabarre pour ne penser qu'à contempler. Belle atmosphère de paix et de quiétude avec cette eau si calme qu'elle devient miroir.

Very beautiful, serene and peaceful, a great place to be. People who live there must be very lucky living on such a location. I would stay there for two weeks, just doing nothing. A great place, but presented by you in a great shot...very good work, i like this one a lot.

Reflections has alwaya a magical meaning for me, dont know why, maybe from my childhood, I remember Frankensteing getting terrified because of his own reflection in the water, although in this case, the fantasy would be more related with HArry Potter. Hello Xavier,

Very nice those deep darker tones in the reflection. I took the picture in photoshop and turned it around. Have to say that that looks interesting as well ;-). Dark reflecting top and lighter bottom. Funny.

another great work with reflections, here you took full profit and the stood waters on the lake to get this wonderful reflection.
Of course the reflection wouldn't look good if the scenery itself wouldn't be as beautiful as it is.
The lonely boat, the still waters, the trees and then this beautiful house in their middle what a fantastic place this must be to spend some quiet, lazy days.

Une maison qui semble des plus bucolique. On a l'impression qu'elle est perdue au bords de la Dordogne. Agréable solitude et très belle impression avec ce reflet parfait.

...et la Dordogne, qui n'a retenu que l'essentiel, agissant comme un filtre.

Superbe reflet! Cette maison complètement immergée dans le vert ressemble à une illustration d'un conte. Un peu trop riant pour être la maison de la sorcière, mais cela pourrait être celle d'une fée!
J'aime bien la petite barque bleue, mais elle tranche presque trop!
Par contre, on a envie d'aller faire un tour dedans!

Les propriétaires de cette maison ont bien de la chance d'habiter un tel endroit, une belle communion avec la nature ici.
