Fields patchwork, a photo from Champagne-Ardenne, North

Photographer's Note

On a flight from Paris to Mumbai, 20 mn after take off, the plane did a turn and I could shoot almost vertically downwards...
While trying to identify the exact place on Google Earth, I saw that all of the area is looking like a patchwork of fields... for hundreds of miles... so I couldn't locate this hamlet!

Vingt minutes après le décollage de mon vol de Paris à Bombay, l'avion a fait un virage sur l'aile qui m'a permis une vue verticale sur ce village et les champs... je n'ai pas réussi identifier ce hameau, toute la région étant un patchwork de champs!

What an amazing opportunity you had. I like the way that the patchwork of fields is crossed by what is probably a river or stream as there is a lovely strip of meandering green trees. Lovely colours and sharpness - very well done. TFS.

superbe ce pdv aérien sur ce patchwork coloré, bien dans ta composition l'effet de ce serpent végétal et de la présence du village afin de donner des détails qui contrastent avec la répétition des formes géométriques.

Bonjour Laurent,
La France vue du ciel ! Tu fais concurrence à Yann Arthus Bertrand :-) Tu as très bien géré cette photo aérienne. Moi je n'y arrive jamais : Hublot opaque, aile de l'avion.... La rivière naturelle rend un très bon contraste avec les couleurs pastel des champs géométriques.
Le petit village au bord de la rivière attire le regard. Dommage que quelqu'un ne soit pas venu éclairer ta lanterne sur son nom. On aurait pu comparer avec Google Earth :-)
