Photographer's Note
The Pont du Carrousel is a bridge in Paris, which spans the river Seine between the Quai des Tuileries and the Quai Voltaire. In 1930, its height above the river was judged insufficient for river transportation. The new bridge of reinforced concrete was constructed. It spans the river in three arches reaching the right bank in front of the Louvre, in direct line with the Arc de Triomphe du Carrousel. This bridge and one of the statues was a subject, which I tried to photograph for a long time. However for one reason or another, I was not able to photograph it. Finally on this day the sky above the bridge was giving me an opportunity. I hope that the colours above the sky would reproduce, as it was that day.
Louis-Messidor-Lebon Petitot born in 1794 was a French sculptor, who died in Paris in 1862. Four stone statues of a symbolic group (Industry, Abundance, The City of Paris, The Seine) were created for The Pont du Carrousel in 1846.

Hi Nobu,
Very elegant and pleasant shot painted by pastel lights. You have built up an interesting vertical composition. Well done.

Simple and elegant, and you were lucky to be able to capture one person walking across the bridge in the distance - or did you wait a long time for that person? Probably. The subtle variations in the sky were worth waiting for.

Hi Nobu!
I like this composition with these soft colors. You've created a very elegant image and this frame format. I like the splash of color the tree and in general POV you use to capture the image with the figure facing the side that is not the objective.
Another great example of this wonderful city so bohemian that has inspired you so much!
Have a great week!

Hello Nobu,
nice the view of one of the four the statues as are found in the bridge of Carrousel. The best was to shot the statue in other hour of the day, with the light to fall on it, and not to be at the back.Never mind it's difficult to shot someone objects in a foreign country or town if he has visited for a few hours.
These games can make them someone in his place or homeland.

Salut cher Nobu
What lovely pinkish tones here! The slight blur in the background really sets a romantic mood and soft atmosphere. The statue placed on the left is well-composed and leads the eye into the rest of the scene. Thanks for sharing and I hope things are going well for you.

Hello Nobu,
Silhouette of the statue on a golden sunset, a bit of backlight-effect, but a superb POV taken well.

Ike
