Photographer's Note
And this is part of what the man from yesterday saw but seen from my low angle under Pont des Arts. It was a cloudy day but for a while the Louvre and Pont du Carrousel was lit up by the sun.

A well framed shot, Ebbe. I like the light on the low-arched bridge and the line of trees on the river's edge. Beautiful architecture with a very moody atmosphere. Well done.

Very good shot, Ebbe. You took very well advantage of the contrasting light and your framing shows harmonious echoing curves. There's just enough details under the bridge. More would have been distractive. Louvre building shows beautifully in these conditions.

Beatiful shot. The fact that the building are under the sun and the black part of the bribge give a special atmosphere.
Good job Ebbe.

Excellent light you captured here Ebbe. The picture is well composed but too heavy at the top for my liking. I would crop a lot of the dark shadow of the bridge off.

Very nicely done. Great composition. The framing of the palace is great. And the crispness allows such great detail to come out of this image. And I really like the strong feel of winter here. Very good job.

Ce pont ma l'air plutôt protecteur avec le silhouette donné ici.
Belle profondeur ou la netteté est très bonne.
Bravo pour cette prise Ebbe

Very nice framing of the Louvre. In this picture the high water of the Seine is much more obvious (although less visible) than in your earlier shot.
So this is what he looked at - a beautiful building (which was my first "Wow, I'm in Paris!"-spot, when arriving at 3 o'clock in the morning, hitchhiking in 1962!) more outstanding or prominent when the trees aren't in bloom.
It's possible to cropp off 1/4 of the top, without loosing anything - but as bridges are your line of business, I understand that you're reluctant to do that... ;o)

Thanks for your comments Ebbe!
Here I feel you've done a lot to an otherwise well known place. The contrasts are superb and the composition is a bit different with that heavy dark top. The nice thing is that it works here! It adds to the rest of the elements and does make it interesting. I agree with the comment above that it also could be cropped, but hey...it works and it's a bit original this way. Keep on going!

You manage an excellent light balance on a very difficult and cloudy day.
Good composition.
Congratulations
