Photographer's Note

Third and last cloister of the abbey located beside the church of Brou.
It is the smallest of the 3 cloisters flanked by a covered well, architecture very rare.
Tt is the only survivor of the original priory. This is an architecture of Bresse : soft slope and pantiles.

Salut Jean Louis,

I like this image, it has good light and shadow, the colour of the sky contrasts well with the colour of the buildings and it's nicely framed by the arch on the left. Well done.

Hi Jean-Louis,

I realize that this might be the last photo from your series from Brou. I really like the POV here and composition is also very good. I think it is a very good idea with a series of photos from different angles. Now we also know what the cloiser looks like. I really look forward to see what comes next from you.

je pense que cela n'a pas du être facile de cadrer tout ça vu le peu de place que tu as du avoir mais j'aprpécie ce que tu as réussi à faire. Belle compo et joli perspective. La lumière aporte beaucoup de relief. Bravo

Bonjour, Jean Louis,
tu as utilisé un bon point de vue pour composer cette image. Le cadrage profite aussi de la géométrie des colonnes du cloître à droite pour donner un effet avec beaucoup de perspective.
J'aime comment tu as parfaitement équilibré la lumière et ses ombres, ils donnent un résultat très graphique et élégant.

Bonjour Jean-Louis,

Ce cloître a également une très belle architecture. Un bel effet ombre et lumière et j'aime bien ce cadrage avec le détail de l'arche.
Une belle série sur cet endroit magnifique, q'un jour, il faudra que je visite.

I like this one because of the simpleness and clearness of it's architecture and the wonderful pavement in this courtyard. There's so much calm and peace in it. A beautiful scenery!
