SAINT JOHN CHAPEL'S DOOR, PLOUGASTEL-DAOULAS, BRITTANY

Saint John's chapel (XVe - XVIIe) is a very quiet place near the Elorn river in Plougastel-Daoulas parish, Brittany (see workshop for general view). The region is famous for its production of strawberries (fraises de Plougastel). Is there a relation with the coulour of this door ?

Salut Jean Michel
Un beau travail de scan pour cette porte, une bonne restitution des couleurs ainsi qu'une bonne netteté.
C'est dommage pour la chapelle en vue générale, elle a beaucoup de charme et plairait surement beaucoup à Gilles (vbbreizh). J'ai tenté un WS sur le WS, juste pour voir.

Bonsoir Jean Michel!
Plougastel, c'est mon pays; la chapelle st Jean, je connais, comme si j'y avais été baptisée, et pourtant je ne connaissais pas tous les détails de cette porte qui ressortent très nettement ici, que ce soit sur le bois rouge ou sur la pierre dorée.
