Photographer's Note

his 130 long sculpture is the work of Chinese sculptor Huang Yong Ping who died in 2019. It was installed in the estuary of the Loire in Saint Brévin in 2012 for the contemporary art biennial of the Estuary and Nantes . It is only visible at low tide.
it turns out that this spring it comes in second place of the French sites consulted on Google Street View after the Eiffel Tower; on the spot there were also a lot of visitors including rather dubious children and photographers too!
