The Rorschach inkblot test described by the psychiatrist and psychoanalyst Hermann Rorschach in 1921, is the basis of projective psychology. It's a method of psychological evaluation. Psychologists use this test to try to examine the personality characteristics and emotional functioning of their patients.
Plates which have each a symmetrical spot are presented to a patient. This should describe what he sees. The free interpretation of the image allows to study his personality. There are seven black and three in color.
This test is very controversial. Many psychologists believe that it is not reliable at all, others see it as one of the cardinal psychodiagnostique modern.
Even among those who recognize the value of tests, there is disagreement on the interpretation of answers.

Hi Karine,
Excellent colours, the reflection is almost like an abstract art form.
As far what I see in the picture, I guess it's rather obvious! I see a pig smoking a pipe -:)

Some even think that it can predict cancer. Well, maybe if your answer is all the time 'cigarette' ...

Interesting reflections! Though I would perhaps have gone for the landscape version of the compo.

Il y a de la richesse dans cette photo,ne fusse que pour y trouver un mérou !!!
les couleurs sont vraiment très belles même si elles sont saturées, l'effet est super.

Moi j'y vois un vieux marin fumant sa pipe . Mais il faut faire attention à ce qu'on écrit ...
Quoiqu'il en soit , les couleurs , formes et textures sont magnifiques .
Un joli tableau abstrait .

Des couleurs impressionnante pour ce reflet..
C'est comme les nuages, libre à chacun de laisser son imagination dessiner un animal, un objet.. voir ici, même un extra-terrestre??? :)

Very interesting idea. The shapes made by the reflection are quite interesting look at. The strong blue and orange colors are perfect for this kind of reflection. Well seen and taken.

Ben la... quand je vois la partie que tu as isolé je suis scotchée de la qualité ! Pas le moindre pixel "bruité" ! En tous cas ce rendu gouaché ultra coloré et abstrait est superbe ! Et sinon un portrait de profil avec une barbichette qui s'enroule et un nez en trompette... ?

Une tête de popeye déformée qui fume sa pipe, voilà ce que je vois! Mais un grouper, ça me va aussi! Quoique... un napoléon? Ou un perroquet à bosse?
En tous cas, j'aime bien les couleurs pétantes. C'est gai et joyeusement abstrait. Un bon délire... Bravo!

La photo est magnifique. Les couleurs d'abord, le graphisme ensuite tout est ok. C'est une œuvre d'une très grande beauté que je verrais bien dans une exposition.
La photo du WS est très utile pour voir le travail de post-traitement.

Il m'est bien difficile de donner une interprétation, surtout après la lecture de ton commentaire ; par contre je peux affirmer sans trop me tromper que l'abstraction est totale, la lumière splendide et l'opposition des couleurs merveilleuse.

I'm not a great fan of reflections, but could not resist this one.

What do I see? Well, when I saw it small I saw a fish. Now I see a Chinese dragon.
