Photographer's Note

This bridge's architecture, and artistic statues are an exuberant example of the decorative art of the Third republic, named after Tsar Alexandre III, father of Nicolas II, who laid the first stone in 1896, reflecting the special long term relationship between France and Russia. The bridge was completed in two years and inaugurated during the universal exposition of 1900. (Source: Encyclopédie Hachette)

I would like to dedicate this photograph to Professor Bülent Atalay whose appreciation for art is very well known among TE members, as well as among the general public all over the world through his books published in many languages. I have been seeking an occasion to dedicate an image to him. It is absolutely not necessary to go into details about The Renaissance Man. I strongly hope and advise you to visit his gallery. You will not be disappointed; one of the most impressive collections of his photographs is waiting for your visit. I provide here his URL;
