Photographer's Note
Through the arcade of La Place des Vosges, one of the corners of the square connects with l’Hôtel de Sully. This is certainly the back door of the edifice. But from here the main façade of the house can be seen very well. This passage way is also one of many short cuts for arriving at a popular local market from the square, certainly the most attractive ways that I know in the area. From the charming open space of the square, one could squeeze through a tiny doorway into a very small, but attractive courtyard. Sunny days, rainy days, or snowy mornings like this, there is no better "ways" to enjoy the magnificent architectural space, which is ready to unfold itself before you.

Hi Nobu,
As on the previous picture the snow creates ambiance very mysterious and captivating. The composition is skilful. The rating is enjoyable to read. A very good contribution. Bravo.
Have a nice day.

Hi Nobu,
maybe not the best possible weather conditions, but this place is surely charming also covered with snow. All in all the white is well managed (not so easy) and the glimpse you took interesting. The facade's details are well observable thanks a good sharpness.

Hi Nobu,
Very good crop to show us the beautiful and rich architecture of Paris. The snow gives a melancolic mood to the image. Good work!
Cheers,

The place must be charming, as you write Nobu, but not under such frozen ambiance...
Captured an overwhelming snow cover, good details on archi.

Bonsoir Nobu,

Ciao dear Nobu,
even in this picture, like the previous one, you have captured the stunning winter atmosphere with delicacy. The absence of people in the garden shows us the wonderful silence of the snow when it falls, a silence to listen to. It's interesting to see the objects only in the vertical sides, while everything is horizontal becomes white and formless. The magic of winter... Excellent choice of the POV that shows us this interesting architecture and the beautiful garden. Congratulations, my dear friend!
Ciao, have a nice Thursday!

Salut mon cher Nobuccio-san
A very wintry scene to cool me down after tropical temperatures in Malaysia. The architecture is exquisite here and you have captured those details very skillfully. I am not convinced by the inclusion of the bush in the foreground, perhaps this is an aesthetic thing, but for me I would rather see more of the Hotel. Excllent note and thank you for your kind email today.
Un abbraccio

Hello dear Nobu-san
So winter has come & you've opened for us your winter album as well!
Compositionwise, this works well! And the vertical framing as well! The exposure has been well handled (there's so much of white that it's not easy). The yellow stone facade seems to be the only colour here.
You created a nice perspective as well. But if you permit me, maybe I'll nitpick a bit here about the hedge in the FG. Its absolutely important for the transaction...without a doubt! But I think its impact would be more had it been perfectly in focus, rather being slightly blurred. So you might have stepped back a step of two which would have rendered the same.
Otherwise a fine picture!
Best Regards Nobu-san & have a great week
Angshuman
