Photographer's Note

The viaduct of Garabit built by Gustave Eiffel in 1884. A railway connects Paris Marseilles via Auvergne region and the Cevennes. The pillars of the apron are oblique. The bridge is 95 m high. The photograph is taken at the edge of the chasm where Truyère river runs.
