Photographer's Note

Impressive clouds so called because their shape evokes udders ... They testify to a stormy weather, indeed, lightning, thunder and a few drops of rain for this early morning on the coast of Charente Maritime.
Another view in WS of these astonishing cloud formations above the pine forest.
Scorching weather at the moment over a large part of France resulting in locally stormy developments.

A great pair of photos of this impressive cloud phenomenon. In the main one the 2 runners in the light strip provide good contrast.

Amazing clouds. I think I have seen skies like this on TE, but never with my own eyes. A Hollywood producer would love this. You composed and exposed this well for a maximum effect.

Bonjour Jean, I don’t think that I have ever seen a sky quite like this, and I had certainly never heard of the name ‘ mammatus’ before!
An amazing picture, I think that the runners are probably running to get home!
We had thunderstorms yesterday with very heavy showers. But no skies as dramatic as this.

If you had just cropped the sky, without an explanation, we might have had trouble identifying it!

It is remarkable!
A great subject for a photograph!

Have you ever looked at silver or pewter articles that have been made by beating the metal with a small hammer? It produces textures similar to this!

It's a fine composition, laying most emphasis on the sky but giving a context by including the fleeing figures!

Inxdeed a threatening clouds formation, Jean, a storm is on its way inland.
We also had a surprising rain in the north, some meteoroligsts attribute this to the blast in Beirut, Lebanon a week ago.
No normal weather all around the globe, I reckon.

Le même temps très chaud actuellement en Belgique. Les gros orages sont attendus les jours suivants.

La formation nuageuse est impressionnante et annonce une tempête. La prise de vue permet de voir les détails du champs et des nuages. Le ciel nuageux donne un bon contraste aux couleurs de l'image. Bonne soirée.

These clouds announced a pretty heavy storm, but they look really beautiful and fascinating. The shapes are great. Very well captured with the beach also well included along with the two runners.

sometimes we have these ones here, but they are rare. excellent view with the shapes of the clouds and the strip of sand and sea with the personage crossing the compo.excellent.

Jean, not the best weather to go to the beach but two women are running on the sand. The menacing clouds announce a future rain. Excellent light management, fine colors, good sharpness, regards.
