Good Morning Everyone,

This is a view of the one of the beaches at Crozon. It is an attractive beach made even more interesting because of these colourful boats, abandoned on the sand.

Crozon is situated at the western tip of Brittany in the Finistere department. The Crozon Peninsula, which lies at the tip of Finistère between Quimper and Brest, can be said to represent Brittany in a nutshell. It has little coves with turquoise water, steep cliffs, seaside resorts, tiny harbours and well-preserved buildings. -Gites of France

I actually cropped the original photograph to create this view, creating a close-up, which I like much better.
I will post the original as a w/s, just for interest.

Hello Bev,
This is a clear improvement on the original version. Cropping a lot of unnecessary sand brought the boats, and the clouds, so much closer to us. From the thumbnail I thought the boats might have been some kind of art objects, seeing the larger version they make me think of the many abandoned kick-bikes in many cities.

Hi Bev,it's a very nice memory from Bretagne and a nice gift to the beach lovers as me! I like a lot the warm colors of canoes abandoned on the sand,perfect for cold view like that always talking about the colors,the typical large and flat atlantic beach in 2 different versions very well done! Hello Bev,

Judicious cropping has improved this image immensely. Hope you missed out on the storm that hit Ireland, Wales and parts of England. Nice repetition of the red and yellow kayaks, which contrast well with the blue sky. Tfs!

The wideness of the beach is creating depth. The point of view is showing the details of the boats and of the beach. The light is giving good colors output. Have a nice day.

Hello Beverley,
A really nice view of the broad beach, the water and the cliffs on the other side. The red and yellow boats look really appealing as well and everything is seen underneath a wonderful sky with those large white clouds.

I would your picture gladly sharing, in three parts.
Boats in foreground for the colour
Port and sea with rocks, this gives a nice, panorama image.
I like the clouds at the sky, a really value weather picture.

I really like the result. In the main photo the long rope is an interesting element but there's a large empty part of the beach that luckily can be left out.
The yellow and red of the canoes makes them very eye-catching.
The big clouds in the blue sky make a magnificent backdrop.

This is so beautiful! The colorful paddle boats make such a photogenic decoration in the foreground.
Just behind we have a beautiful view of the coast, and everything is nicely topped up with amazing clouds.

Good idea to crop it to get rid of the blank sand in the foreground and create this attractive square composition. Great colours here too and the shapes of clouds nicely complement the bottom part.

Hello Beverley, you created an eye catching scene by bringing the abandoned boats to the foreground in this way.
Yes, this is a beautiful part of the country having had some lovely holidays in this region in the past, but long before I had a digital camera.
The cloudy blue sky adds to the beauty of the scene.

Spectacular and beautiful composition on this beautiful beach, I agree that this image cut out from the bottom acquires greater strength and attractiveness, by placing those colorful canoes even more in the foreground, ideally the cliffs of the coastline in the background, magnificent sky also with the mixture of blue and gray clouds.
Sharpness, lighting, color, and magnificent composition; they are managed to perfection, in this beautiful image.
