Like a snowy "postcard" ... a so beautiful winter landscape taken in Cauterets. So beautiful Plateau du Cayan, one of my favorite location in winter.

Hello Jean,

This is a beautiful, pristine, winter scene, with its thick coverings of snow and rocky mountain slopes, meeting in a 'v' shape in the b/g.
You have composed the scene carefully to give us the best view; bushes frame the scene and the river guides us leisurely past all the winter features.

Amazing winter scenery indeed. The snow in the foreground is so well lit we can feel its rough surface. Amazing to see such a view under the great blue sky.
I must take my daughter to the continental Europe to show her a real winter someday.

the texture of the ice is in evidence in FG at side of the small islet in the creek. a special view of the area in the winter.

I know Cauterets in the summer but never like this. A beautiful winter scene with excellent light and clarity.
