Solidarity with the Ukrainian people, a photo from Aquitaine, West

Photographer's Note

In France, as everywhere in Europe, there is a broad outpouring of solidarity towards the Ukrainian population. Donations, consignments of food and materials are collected for the Ukrainians currently being bombarded ... refugee accommodation, rallies of support in the cities and also flags in the colors of Ukraine which adorn many public buildings.
Here, one example among many others with this photo taken in front of the small annex town hall of Cap Ferret, it is located near the peninsula lighthouse that I have often presented on TE.
Solidarity and above all a wish: Stop this terrible war!

Bonjour Jean, I recognised the lighthouse immediately, so it balances the composition beautifully with the Ukrainian flag at the opposite side of the frame.
The primary colours separated by the dark foliage of the trees.

Hello Jean,
A great combination of the red lighthouse and the blue and yellow Ukrainian flag with the trees in the middle. The sunlight was pleasant as well.

Hello Jean

It seems Russia only knows 2 speeds. Inertia and running rampant like a bull in a China shop. A nice tribute for Ukraine. Let's hope the sanctions bite deep and hard. Already the actions of Putin have caused monumental changes or proposed changes in Europe. Germany has ditched it's pacifist constitution and Sweden and Finland are eager to join Nato. There is safety in numbers. Tfs!
