One of the numerous swans living on the Seine river. I went there on a pontoon to catch them flying. They stretch their neck to the extreme (reminds the Concorde) and fly generally very close to the water with a flutter noise. They look heavy, but are very fast. It's beautiful. I took just two shots but too far. While I was waiting, two swans came on the bank. The sun was already low and the river was only reflecting the sky, but the swans head was still in the sun. The best light conditions possible.

Yes I like it - The fine details of the neck and with sun reflections in the Beak.
I have some swan pictures of my own, but after this will I wait some time before posting them

Wonderful sharpness. White is white, blue is blue. An effective cropping.

Quelle belle capture! Le recadrage est réussi, les outils de photoshop très bien appliqués. Beaucoup de détails, excellente netteté et une profondeur de champ mettant en valeur le sujet principal. Très belle réalisation.

A wonderfull photo Jean Michel. The sharpness of this image is really good. I aslo love the DOF with the dark shades od blue in the water.

I missd this one, but he is lovely, JM. Texture and colour beautifull., Superb Background colour compliments the face , down to the drop of water on the bill! Bravo
