I wanted to find pure nature, to hear the sound of the sea, to have a good winter light...
I wanted to breathe a fresh air, to find another kind of "desert"...

I expected Cotentin to be like that.

And it was...

J'imagine que tu as obtenu ce que tu recherchais avec cette promenade en bord de mer..
Je trouve le point de vue très beau..
Une image un peu sombre qui mériterait un coup de niveau sous CS mais c'est tellement beau que ca passe plutôt bien.

malgré le temps pas terrible, les cote dentellées ressortent bien a vec cette mer un peu houleuse, beau cadrage, c'est autre chose que le désert !

Well Stephane this photo really has a nice balance in the frame as the shoreline creeps up the frame. Nice low light and details in foreground and in the distance. Good work!

A very unusual landscape with a brown cast. The waves breaking on the shore are a good feature as the white waves add good contrast with the shore line. A good POV too. Well seen.

Stephane ce paysage fait penser à certaines côtes sauvages d'Ecosse ou d'Irlande. Le fait d'être sombre donne un air plus dramatique à la photo. Belle photo !

Hi Stephane,
The mood of the sea overwhelms the soul here. I especially like the contrast of the rich brown headlands with the sea. The foamy waves seem to provide their own lighting to brighten the scene. Good DOF, with the land mass seen in the misty distance. The fresh clean air you surely found here. Well captured.

la lumière est vraiment spéciale ici, ça rend ces côtes assez mystérieuses.
