Photographer's Note

In spite of many deaths in her family (see the note , Marguerite d'Autriche completeted her work in the chorus of the church, of Brou.
It is first her splendid tomb, entirely realized in Carrara marble. The large blocks came from Italy by sea, then by the Rhone and finally on oxcart pulled by 9 horses (5 to 6 km a day!)
The tombs of Marguerite d'Autriche and her husband have the special feature of offering of the same figure double representation : alive and a dead in the shroud.
A dog, symbol of fidelity, are lying on her feet.

To take the shot, I made the most of the sunlights which gave many pastel colors through the wonderful stained glass windows.
The next shot will show that more intensely.
