Photographer's Note

Madly in love during three years only.
They were parted by death.
And here are reunited for all eternity Marguerite and her husband, Philibert le Beau.
His effigy was entirely made of marble of Carrara especially convoyed for this Masterpiece.
It is placed in the center of the Chorus of the church of Brou, between the tomb of his wife, Marguerite d'Autriche and that of his mother, Marguerite de Bourbon whom one sees behind.
Its head is turned towards the tomb of his wife.
The cherubs surrounding the statues symbolize the entry in the heaven by the lates.
