Photographer's Note
I was walking around the Champs Elysés area the other day, when I came across an amazing building!! This is no reflection, no post processing tricks whatsoever... That is just the way that house looks... I did not benefit from a good light, as it seems better exposed to the sun in the morning, but I thought it was worth showing... then maybe someone can go there and do better than me ;D
To find this place... go down the Champs Elysees avenue until avenue George V...stay on the left side of the road until you see that strange place.. it is actually just panels to hide the renovation work which is going on...
More views as workshops.

That is a superb shot! Next two included in your workshop I like as well.. The strongest point here is a perfect illusion that the building is real, in the same time it has such curling, twisted shape what makes the relextion purely surrealistic.. salvador Dali would be amazed.. so am I :-)
Bravo!

It really is a weird view you are showing us with these three pictures. They are all good but the one a really like is WS1. It gives a perfect idea of what is going on, with the parked cars and the door near the “no parking” sign. Of course, nobody cares about the road signs!!! Well done.

Laurent: This is just a paint job on the house, right? There is a building in Orlando, Florida that looks a bit like this except it is actually built that way. Nice job conveying the effect under not-so-perfect light.

Hi Laurent,
A very nice shot of this building, well seen.
It's strange they covered it in this way while renovation work is taking place.
I like the other two versions you posted too. I think WS1 is the best version as it gives a good view from the street.

Bonsoir, Laurent,

I didn't believe that this wasn't a reflection shot, Laurent, until I saw your workshops. In one of them you can see a door in the panels, and what looks like a join in the panels, so that give it away - but it took me a while fo looking before I worked it out. Great curiosity shot and a very creative concept by whoever thought it up. Cheers . . . David
