Photographer's Note
We were drinking some herb and fruit flavored rhum that night (don't know what kind of herbs they put) and talking about music of our youth. I don't remember how we finally came to Ten Years After and "Goin' Home" intro lick... I felt that was so weird talking about Alvin Lee's antics in a tropical island...
Why am I saying that, btw? Probably because all these people in the photo are going back home from a monday afternoon at the beach.
Who said he didn't like mondays?
There are better mondays than other. Happy Easter, Pessah or just plain chocolate eating without the fuss around.

Hi Luko, sometime since I've noticed you here. Really like the start of your note, makes it sound like a great evening, the silouette looks good here, and a well worked arrangement from teh compo.

Pure photographic killer.
Clean cut, no sweetener added.
Healthy for our inner preceptors of beauty.
Love the scene tremendously.
Highest class photo. The one that bows my head low, against my strong will.
All the chocolate in the world, Luko.

Good evening Luko.
This is an Extraordinary shot.
Is like if I see their faces.
Perfect frame. Everything is in the right place.
The low corner shot makes the silhouettes to look very dramatic and powerful.
Very good work.
My regards

Hello, Luko--
Nice work here, it's all good, the movement led by the pointing child at the front, the silhouettes, the soft colors of the sunset... but what i think really goes a long ways for this picture is the sliver of water visible on the left, letting the whole frame feel a little less landlocked. The ipcture leads to the left, and the left only holds more mystery and romance.
Thanks!

This is freaking amazing Luko. Which one is Oliver Twist? The visual and emotional impact is so strong that even thinking of the technical issues (phenomenal anyway) is a sin, at least for me. By the way, who said 24-105 is not good for night shots etc.?

I don't normally think of you as a sunset shooter, but this is a pretty good one. For me, the biggest strength here is the strong diagonal creasted by bhe breakwater, level, or whatever it is called. A good exposure too and a pretty good job in keeping the people from overlapping. Nice shot.

There are silhouettes, ordinary ones, and God knows we see enough of them on TE, and then there are...these. these shadows have form, they move, they are big closer up and small in the distance across the frame. The woman on the extreme wife (mother?) realy sets the whole nto motion.
Excellent work, Luko.

Hello Luko. A photo worth seeing and reduced to few colors. The graphic black dominates and forms a diagonal in the infinite. The evening tendency and cheerfulness is perceptible. Very beautifully seen and realizes. Best regards, Wolfgang.

this is amazing luko... the low pov works really well here to show the dynamic silhouettes... the guy pointing out adds a lot to the charm... and the last but not the least, the sky is spellbinding...

Hi Luko,
I like the various movements of the silhouetted people leaving the beach. The colors of the sunset look very natural and does not appear to be over pp'ed. Happy Easter. Danilo

Brilliant. This photo really speaks to me, and tells a story about the day they've had and the direction they are heading as they walk along the jetty. Nice subtle sunset colours as well.

Yes, me too, i would love to go home on a Monday afternoon like they do... from the beach. Something to think about... dream about.
Hard to add anything of importance other than I join those loving this one too.

great shot luko - almost like something out of an ipod ad... the silhouetted figures receding into the background are fantastic.

I like the low point of view - it almost looks like you must have been in the water to get this one. The silhouetted figures pulling us through the shot and the tiniest hint of motion blur create to a compelling image that does convey that 'day is done' feeling.

Beautiful perspective with a great use of light and mood.
I like this kind of mood in evenings.
Relaxing scene with a great subject and caption.
