Photographer's Note

This picture shows part of the Place du Marché Notre-Dame in Poitiers. The church of Notre-Dame-La Grande, whose picture I posted yesterday, stands slightly behind and to the left of this viewpoint. The half-timbered buildings set out in this appealing semi-circle betray their medieval origins.

I really like your POV, capturing the way the buildings on the right go off into the curve of the street. The lady in the window adds a lot of interest to the image also. Nice, interesting shot.

it is a very nice capture well done. To follow the line of the houses, all a bit narrow and tall, is pleasant. They have beautiful facades also in that grey weather, looks a bit wet. The colours are just the point for the eye to focus on. Great contrast and sharpness.

A very nice Daily Life image. A colorful composition of the market shops in the village square. My only comment is that there really should be some people in the image to add some life.

There's some nice historical architecture to be seen here, and we can see modern businesses added some color without spoling too much the general atmosphere, pity the weather was not on your side on that day.
