Stairway to heaven, a photo from Berlin, East

Photographer's Note

Jagdschloss Granitz on the island of Rügen.

This stairway leads up to the roof of the tower, and I admit, it's a bit scary. You're allowed to go up there - but not more than 40 (?) at the same time because of the stairs... There's a guard at the bottom counting everyone.

Photo is taken on ground level looking straight up inside the tower.

Nice composition and a very interesting subject. The painted-glass stairs add light and uniqueness to the photo and the bird on the top is definitely a welcome addition.

Very attractive alternance between plain and openwork parts. It a nice stairway, and your notes are instructive about it. Very good contrast and exposure. Could be sharper on the distance (f/2.6, doesn't give you enough DOF here, so you loose details on the upper part of the stairs)But it's a nice image, well framed and seen.
