Heidelberg is a really striking city... Even astounding !
Before presenting a little more details of the town, with its monuments, its magnificent facades, or its famous bridge, I wanted to start with a reflection on the Neckar. The river is everywhere, quietly goes along the city, and contributes to the charm of Heidelberg.
What a pleasure to open the window of the hotel room early in the morning and admire, despite the freezing cold (!), beautiful colorful houses in the water...

Beautiful reflection. I might have turned it upside down since we don't get to see the "real" building anyway. Sharpness and contrast look great though, it almost appears to be a painting.

Le reflet est superbe mais j'apprécie encore plus les couleurs de l'ensemble. J'ai aussi beaucoup aimé cette ville que j'ai malheureusement visitée sous un temps maussade.

Un sujet que j'aime beaucoup !j'avoue ne jamais me lasser de ces reflets ,on peut passer de longs instants à les admirer ,les photographier et après dilemme pour le choix ,à chaque seconde c'est un tableau différent.Ici j'aime surtout l'ensemble des couleurs et l'esquisse du bâtiment.Superbe .

Evidemment, tu étais aux premières loges semble-t-il pour les photos. Il n'empêche... il fallait la faire cette vue "renversante" comme tu dis! Voilà qui me fait penser à certains reflets de Honfleur que tu nous avais proposés. C'est doux, délicat, et les couleurs nous réchauffent!

Comme on comprend ta joie devant un tel spectacle dès le matin. Ce ne peut être qu'une belle journée qui commence. J'aime beaucoup cette photo faite uniquement du reflet de cette façade.
