Photographer's Note

From tropical Asia to cold & white Europe. But the white winter is beautiful, I enjoy it every day.

Afternoon sun has given me a very good opportunity to capture this small chapel and beautiful large tree on top of Black Forest hill in nice backlight.

After few foggy days one superb winter sunny day with blue sky, what a wonderful day.....

Hello Miro,
This is a beautiful composition of the two persons walking against the sun under the magnificent tree. The white cloud is a perfect background and the sun shines as a star through the branches. This photo has a very good atmosphere of winter and the composition is very nicely balanced.

J'aime beaucoup cette composition. Tu as su très bien joué avec la lumière à contre jour, comme cachée derrière l'arbre givré.Les deux personnages en ombres chinoises sont parfaitement placés dans le rayon.

Although I'm not really a winter person I find sunny days in winter abolutely gorgeous, at least in nature.
Here you present us such a brilliant picture. The light is beautiful and the sun shines in a star shape throught the branches of that large tree.
The white clouds complete the snow effect in the landscape.
Both persons look like silhouettes and are placed well on the white background.
The overall composition is sublime.

Fine cropping here. It's a very well functioning photo with a magic back light The 2 silhuettes stand well against the low cloud and the sun light which illuminate the tree in a very pleasant way. There's a tranquil atmosphere that I like, too.

Hi Again, The temperature difference can be big, I went from winter in Prague to tropical heat of 40 in Brazil.

A well composed version of sunny crisp winter with good fg interest and detail, wonderful colour and tones. The sun a real bonus at this time of the year, but belying how cold it was, and the use of the starburst effect makes the backlighting shot very effective as an added interest. Brilliant sunshine shows German winter weather at its best. That big tree is spectacular with its two branches. Silhouettes of people give good idea of scale. Exposure could be brighter though.

I have missed this one. It is quite a jaw dropping view.
The winter decorated everything so nicely. Especially the tree looks very pretty, there must have been no wind at all! Behind the house there is this cloud appearing -it creates a magical atmosphere here. I like very much also the two silhouettes of people.
The sun perfectly hidden and also making a nice star shape!
