Amalienburg, a photo from Bayern, West

Photographer's Note

This is a little hunting lodge built for Amalia (here are details about her: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Maria_Amalia_of_Austria). The house is located in the park of Nymphenburg in Munich. The roccoco Hall of Mirrors is one of the most beautiful rooms I`ve ever seen. Unfortunatelly the image is to small. This is a stitch of several images and it is also my multi-self-portrait, as you can see in mirrors ;).

The interior of this nice hall is so refined and beautiful. I like the light that pierces the hall and the interesting reflections in the mirrors. The light, reflections and the elegant design of the walls and furniture make a special atmosphere of luxury. An excellent capture!

if this is the little hunting lodge how must be the Palace and the other residences? Nice presentation and great the decorative elements of the scene.I like that almost in every mirror there is a photographer,or is the same,creating from the multi reflections.

Wygl±da tutaj jak w ekskluzywnym gabinecie luster. Wnêtrze prezentuje siê zdecydowanie okazalej ni¿ architektura zewnêtrzna tego pa³acu. Znakomita ornamentyka, piêkne stiuki. Zamontowane lustra rozci±gnê³y przestrzeñ. Nie mia³e¶ ³atwego zadania przy tak silnych ¶wiat³ach obecnych w wielu oknach odbitych w lustrach. Uda³o siê i mo¿na podziwiaæ to wnêtrze.

I'm happy with your new pace of posting, Henryku :).

This is nice ! Although there is a very rich ornamentation, it still has an airy feel, delicate, light ; must be the soft blue tones of the walls, and the mirrors of course.
Ingenious idea of the repetitive self-portrait reflection.

You had a good idea in the composition with this panoramic framing, for to emphasize the interior richness of the rococo architecture in this Hall of Mirrors.
And also for to multiply your self-portrait by 6 and to catch another photographer in the corridor.

nice shot, the light seems a little high, however we still can see the artwork on the walls and all the details
how does it feel to be 6 persons at the same time ;)
I don't mind your reflection, although colour wise is a little distracting

Long time ago, I see that you makes everytime lovely picture.
This front is wonderful, nevertheless a very difficult place for take through the backlight, splendid architecture picture, almost an artwork, also your self portrait is spectacular

Nice artistic effect of repetition. I imagine you had fun while doing this photo. The room seems even more impressive than the ones I visited in Versailles. But where's the Large Version? I can't see well your face :)
