Photographer's Note

Pictured here is a part of a City Hall building of Cologne located in Deutz district with some interesting(at least I think so:) reflections in its glass facade.
In WS I enclosed other picture showing the building from a further perspective.

I like the warm colors and the effect of a strict symetry leading to another dimension where space is distorted.

Thanks for your workshop, we can see the building as the people passing it see it, and I have to admit, you have created a surreal masterpiece in creating this shot from that building. I would have passed that building without a second glance, and to think that a shot like this was hiding inside :)

Its a cool effect, the distortions on the glass almost make this look like a portal to another world, enhanced by the depth created by your framing. Classic shot,

Takie zniekształcenia często wyglądają jak nie z tego swiata, czasami rzeczywiscie aż sama ręka chwyta za aparat, jestes dobrym obserwatorem :)

Hello Krzysztof,
an amazing find in the busy urban scenery. From the workshop photo we can see how exposed to everybody's glance and at the same time how well hidden it is. This is a superb composition of a solid geometrical frame that contains playful fluid reflections. Maybe the effect would have been more abstract if you had cropped a little at the bottom and a bit more at the top of the frame. Please excuse me for saying so because now that you've brought before us this unthinkable composition it's easy to make alternative suggestions:) The lighting and the colours are wonderful and contribute greatly to the fine artistic effect. Congratulations and thank you!

honestly, one of the better reflection photo's i've seen in a long long time.
this one is very unique.
like something you'd see in a 'freak show' at a Circus :)
and having the long red bands and the black top is a wicked way to enhance the overall look.

There seems to be lots of interesting building in this city. Beautiful abstract composition. The corridor in front of the windows creates excellent framing here. Lovely effect of the abstract reflections. Really good light and colour management. Excellent! TFS.

A creative composition with remarkable graphics, the image I remember some pictures I've seen of modern art, exhibitions and museums.

Nicely spotted and well rendered the mirror effect.
The concaved modern windows created diff. shapes to the opposite sight in the scene, and the red tone on sides framing beautifully.

What great effect, and what an accomplished eye to conceive this type of image...simply impressive! I've picked up many things from your works...seeing these kinds of opportunities that were never before realized. I love how the edges of the frame are linear and red colored, while the middle section has been skewed from the reflection, yet still containing what would otherwise also be "hard lines."

It's a wonderful combination of different effects from the same elements. Even the darker section above shows just enough detail to see that it's angled inward, giving us an idea of dimension and depth. Wisely composed and technically sound, looks great! Have a good week ahead my friend.
