Photographer's Note
Still at K21 Museum, exhibition of Juan Munoz. Here one of his typical scultures infront of the mirror.
No photography allowed inside this exhibition. Why? I'll never understand.
Even touching is forbidden. I saw a man who touched one of the sculptures. there was a guard very soon to say that it is forbidden. Kind of strange.
A nice exhibition. But why is everything forbidden.

Hi Nino,
The forbidden fruit tastes better ;-). I like this a lot. Maybe a little correction for the deformation of the mirror would make it even better.

Hi Nino
Apparently, flash contains uv rays, which over time fade artwoek colours. I'm sure you've seen an old poster outdoors exposed to sunlight, where the red has turned to cyan? Anyway, I like the duality here & the bonus self portrait. Tfs!

Hey nino,
its one of thos IDIOTIC rules. I mean seriously, what are you going to do, steal the statue in your camera? Idiotic, I think flash photography should be banned but as you say, regular photography? This is in a way you flauting it to these idiots. Very artistic shot.

Great exhibition shot! Can photography damage the pieces? It can damage feelings but never the material, I suppose.

Hi Nino. Well done beating the 'powers that be', and a nice idea for a self-portrait. The framing is well laid out, with the staggered alignment of the statue and yourself in front of the mirror. Enjoy your weekend.

Hi Nino,
All of your shots are interesting, but your greatest talent is when you combine people and art in scenes such as this. The perspective, the depth obtained, and the clarity of detail all mesmerize. A clean crisp and smooth shot. And yes, most good things in life are forbidden...

Nino, you seem to be getting more and more in the frame. First it was your leg, now it's your reflection, and who is the guy with the camera. Ha, ha. You have some great photographic opportunities where you live haven't you? We have a little library that opens for 3 hours a day four days a week!!
Like this one, good stuff.

Ciao Nico,
interessantes Selbstportrait mit sehr guter Raumaufteilung. Hat der Spiegel gebogene Seiten oder macht das Objektiv diese tonnenförmige Verzerrung ?
Grüße,
Roland

All is forbidden because they invite us to break the rules. You choose the good way: you rebeled.
I like the photo. Is creative and original.

I too feel strongly against the ban on photography.
Here the composition of the statue is very classical.
The colours are simple and effective.
Great work. Great effort!!

very nice, artsfull selfportrait :)
yes I often saw no photography allowed rules :(, with so much handphone now equipped with camera (now some already more then 3.2 MB pixel), seems quite stupid rules

Hi Nino
Very original 'self portrait'. Very graphical you've done superbly with framing here. The lines of the mirror, the curve of the railing all add to this excellent compo.
Wishing you the very best for 2007

Hi Nino,
Very very different from your Indonesia shots but I like the clean lines and the crop. Everything so well placed in the mirror :O)
By the way - had a fantastic trip (went photo hunting with Yoga and his friends) and want to go back as soon as possible.
A happy New Year and all the best in 2007.

Hola Nino, a very interesting framing in which you integrate into the composition with tact and elegance. I like much the balance of two figures inside the mirror, it is a good work and I like moreover because it is prohibited.
Congratulations friend
Un saludo.
