Postcard from Dresden, a photo from Sachsen, East

Photographer's Note

I showed here already my photo of Dresden Frauenkirche and my photo of Mathin Luther monument but previously I showed Martin Luther from behind so this time an opposite view. Neumarkt Square is so photogenic that again I would love to get back there especially for the blue hour someday.
This is my 18th photo from Dresden. I will show one more photo from Saxony and then I move to photos from another country I visited this year.

Czesc Mariusz!
Kolejna ciekawa pocztowka z Drezna.
Ten kosciol pamietam jak byl w ruinie.
Wiem, ze go ciezko zmiescic w kadrze nawet "10"
Znajac siebie to bym probowal wyprostowac ;)
Dobre kadrowanie, kompozycja z pomnikiem na pierwszym planie i super kolorki.
Dobra robota.
Milego nowego tygodnia.

You've been luck to be able to travel internationally this year. It hasn't been an option for us (but them we've had relatively little COVID).
A good photo of the famous man and church.

Dresden is without a doubt one of the most attractive cities in Germany. The iconic, reconstructed Frauenkirche with a statue of Martin Luther, along with some seated fg tourists, adds depth and layering to the composition. Tfs!

Cette statue possède un avantage certain, elle sert de point de ralliement et de repos sur la partie basse.
Et pourtant, le spectacle est derrière avec cette architecture majestueuse tout à fait dans le style de l'époque.

Hello Mariusz,

You have really shown what an attractive city Dresden is, to photograph.
You had to be careful with this composition so that Martin Luther didn't get lost amongst the decorative details of the church but, you did well, securing a viewpoint where the eyes travelled naturally from the f/g couple, via the memorial, to the details of the church.
It is a fine exposure, sharp with natural colours.

Hi Mariusz,
Good composition looking up past Martin Luther up to the beautiful baroque church. The sunlight is at a good angle to show details in the architecture. I like the clouds in the blue sky.

curious as luter doesn't match with baroque, a style so linked with catholic church..
I liked a lot the church, looks like one in venice, saint mary maggiore I guess. excellent image.
here the 4th dead people, curiously 3 of them were men from rural zone, I guess they don't pay attention to the protection..

A fantastic photo of the Frauenkirche in Dresden, seen here in a perfectly bright sunlight and in front of a very attractive sky, so much better than a few days later when we were there. Good inclusion of the statue of Luther and the people sitting around it in the foreground.

Wonderful view of this church, which I think is the first we see with the light stone, the sculpture of Luther stands out very well against the light background, the sun lights the church fantastically to recreate us in its details.
Sharpness, lighting, color, and the magnificent composition; they are all perfectly realized factors, in this precious image.
