This is a tower of the castle wall of Freusburg Castle, which I showed you yesterday. It's hidden in the forest which surrounds nearly the whole well-fortified castle area. This is a real romantic place, where your thoughts go back to the Middle Ages ...

Hi Frank,
I already thought to switch off the computer, when appeared this photo. I see the Frank that in spite the state of your own health you are not as usual moving, what of course gladdens me very much. Because need it was surely no mean of the effort, to run in to this hidden tower. And it is proper it was, and the visible effect is on the photograph. You caught quite a lot the sun flowing out from among twigs of trees. The very interested perspective and splendid still the green.

Gut,daß Du hier den "Durchblick" hattest.
Deine Aufnahme vermittelt wirlich den Eindruck vom versteckten Turm.Toll eleuchtende Farbe der Blätter und gute Schärfe am Mauerwerk.Gut gesehen von Dir und tolle Idee.

Hi Frank.
You have captured the medieval and magical atmosphere in this picture. I would have made it just a little darker to make it "dark middle ages". This is just my thought.
You are working a lot at finding new subjects for your camera, must be a better weather in Germany. We have 34-36 °C and very high humidity. Not very productive combination. Maybe except for another big storm.

nicely captured shot from a good pov. I like very much how the castle is surrounded by this gorgeous forest. If you have had more patience, may be you'd have the opportunity to take a shot to Robin Hood,too.:))) Friendly regards from rainy and stormy Italy!

Bonjour mon ami Frank,
Madame la Tour est timide et se cache derrière la verdure estivale ce qui doit permettre un peu de fraîcheur par ces temps de canicule.
J'aime la petite fenêtre qui perce au milieu de cette épaisse muraille et ce toit octogonal magnifique recouvert de tuiles plates (en bois ?).
Très intéressante vue, mon ami Frank.

Die Bäume am ersten Plan verstärken den Geheimniseindruck, der sich von diesem Photo abzeichnet. Aber welche Geheimnisse verstecken also diese fast vergessene Umdrehung? Schönes Einrahmen, schöne Farben.

Very romantic indeed. It reminds me of Burg Friedberg. Along the rear of the fortress is this wall with lots of vegitation. I really like this turm.
