Photographer's Note

Kefalonia is one of the biggest Greek islands and it belongs to Eptanisa (Kerkyra(Corfu), Zakynthos (Zante), Lefkada, Ithaka, Paxoi, Kythira and Kefalonia, totally seven islands, that's what Eptanisa means), in Ionian Sea.

Although Corfu and Zante share the lion's part in fame and visitors, i can tell you that in many aspects Kefalonia is much more beautiful and interesting. I hope that in the near future i'll have the opportunity to upload more photos from this beautiful island and right more details about its five W and one H (What, Who, Where, When, Why, and How).

Here, just a tavern i like in the island's capital, Argostoli. It's called "Kyani Akti" (Cote d' Azur)

A beautiful low light photograph of this inviting place!
Well composed presentation, and well done on the exposure... Great polarized colours!
The long exposure makes the surface of the water look like it is made of silk...

Ya lo decía la canción: "yo quieroooooo vacacioneeeeeeeeeees...".
En verdad esa canción no existe. Me lo acabo de inventar, pero es mi forma de decir que querría poder viajar este verano hasta tu país.

Pero este verano no tengo vacaciones (cosa que no viene a cuento).

El color, la luz y esta "hora azul" crean un ambiente magnífico.
Una vista muy agradable, seguro.

Hercules, c'est une ambiance de fête que tu nous postes-là. J'aime les tons de la nuit sur l'eau et dans le ciel. On entend presque la musique !

Otra bella imagen de las hermosas islas de tu país. Cada vez que veo una de éstas me vienen unas ganas terribles de ir a visitarlas.
Esta foto de la terraza de este restaurante sobre el mar, a esta hora azul, da un resultado de luz y color impresionante, muy bello.
Ha de ser muy agradable y romántico estar cenando o tomando una copa allí. Tomo nota.

Μόνο που την βλέπω την ταβερνα, μουρχεται η μυρωδιά από την κουζίνα της και μου άνοιξες την όρεξη. Αχ και να ήμουν εκεί να καθόμουν κάπου στην άκρη να μοίριζα και την θάλλασα, να έβλεπα και τους άλλους πελάτες πως συμπεριφέρονται μεταξύ τους. Πολύ καλό κλιμα για κάτι τέτοιο. ¨εκανες πολύ καλά να ανεβάσεις αυτήν την πολύ όμορφη φωτογραφία.

Indeed you his a very great fan of night pictures, I know very good how difficult make a night image, you make your picture something early in de evening so we can see the blue sky, I find this better.
