Photographer's Note
I'm going through some old pictures I have...
This is a view of the windmills overlooking Mykonos harbor as sunset approaches. None of the windmills are operational, however they still serve as a symbol of the island and are a popular tourist attraction (especially at sunset!)...At one time there were over 20 operational windmills on Mykonos, which were used for grinding grain.

Hi Jennifer
Love the graduation of the blue shade in the sky and the silhouette of the windmills, with a hint of illumination from the sun. Great composition! I wonder, though, how those skinny wind turbines get propelled by wind, since they are so skinny.

Hello Jennifer,
Extreme light contrasts in this view, but they work to produce a remarkable view with a fine play of lines and shapes profiled against the sky.
Regards,
Paul
