Photographer's Note
The Venetian Neoria is one of the most impressive monuments at the Old Port of Chania. Built in the 16th century by the Venetians, the reason for the growing Turkish threat, where the Venetian needed a shipyard to repair its ships.rnrnThe armed ship began construction of the shipyards in 1526 and completed in 1599. At that time the Venetian ship dominated the Mediterranean waters. Of the main stations on the Eastern Mediterranean sea, shopping streets were the ports of Crete where there was the shelter of the commercial ships and martial navy, for refueling and repairs. The ruins of Neoria were large stone constructions with an arched facade.

Hello Aleksander
Ha, I recognized these old Venetian warehouses. I didn't really get a good enough picture from it when we were in Chania. This one is good. I like the approaching car in the composition too.

Ciao Alex, very good side view in the WS, but i agree for the choice of main pic,the perspective is beautiful and perfect to show us the style of Venice, but it reminds a bit the old houses of Bergen harbour..ehee...useful note about the use in the past and top quality as usual. Have a nice evening and thanks,Luciano
