View over Meteora, a photo from Trikala, Thessaly

Photographer's Note

There has been enough said and shown about Meteora on this site, so I'll skip the history lesson. I hope I'm not being too repetitive with this shot, I just thought it offers a slightly different perspective and helps orient the future travelers to this wonderful spot.

This is a view over the central part of Meteora about half way through the trail. On the right is the Agias Varvaras Rousanou monastery and on the left, just outside the frame would be where the Agias Triados is.

Anna hi!Great panoramic format on this amazing and unique site,the only distractive thing is the piece of rock appearing at the left low part of the photo.Nevertheless this is a splendid panoramic shot!
