Photographer's Note

The Great Market Hall or Central Market Hall (Hungarian "Nagycsarnok"),designed by Gustave Eiffel, on Fővám Tér in the 9th district, is the largest indoor market in Budapest. It was designed and built by Samu Pecz around 1896.

The market offers a huge variety of stalls on three floors. A distinctive architectural feature is the roof which was restored to have colorful Zsolnay tiling.

Most of the stalls on the ground floor offer produce, meats, pastries, candies, spices, and spirits such as paprika, tokaji, túró rudi, and caviar. The second floor has mainly eateries and souvenirs. The Lángos stand, which Rick Steves considers to be the best at the market, is located on this floor, serving the deep-fried snack lángos. The basement contains a supermarket, fish market, and pickles. Not only do they have traditional cucumber pickles, but they also offer pickled cauliflower, cabbage, beets, tomatoes, and garlic.

A lovely image taken out of the hight with the buildings on a very nice way.
Sharpness and clarity be superb.
This gives a very well image of this country.

Lovely high pov shot and I love for the warm tones and strong lines of the edges of the building blocks, both are captivating indeed. Nice capture some great architectures, beautiful dof, composition and focussing in fine details. Dotted of human interactions further add to the shot nicely. It's pretty scene well recorded. yes, that tiling you mentioned truly does stand out to make the building that much more unique and eye catching.
its also cool to see the run of short smokestacks on the rooftops.
attractive light striking the front facade too.

Hi Ovidiu,
the high POV that you used in these photos is very effective to catch distant images with the zoom.
Here we can enjoy with great sharpness the details and the shapes of the beautiful architecture of the Central Market Hall, under the light of the afternoon and with a few fantastic warm tones.
The people in the street give a lot of vitality and dynamism to the composition.
