Photographer's Note

Strolling around in Budapest that day I saw the two sitting high up above on the tunnel's rim, obviously enjoying life and watching the hectical traffic on the Chain Bridge passing the tunnel under...

The glases (wine?) between them... a nice place to chat, but safe?

Noticing them up there made me curious to to walk uphill to document.

ps have a look at the WS where you will see them high up...

Excellent composition and pov. The only thing I would have done differently is clone out the jackets as they add nothing to the photo. Still an outstanding shot.

ich entsinne mich so dunkel, mich in jüngeren Zeiten auch an anderen Sicherheitsmaßstäben orientiert zu haben. :-! Gleichwohl, danke für den Workshop, beeindruckende Höhe.
Der Blick über die Donau zeigt eine nette Mischung aus alt und neu. Die Brücke gefällt mir, sie ist leider etwas stark im Zentrum des Bildes für meinen Geschmack. Die Farbgebung der beiden wirkt fast abgesprochen, schöne Kontraste.

A very refreshing image!
I like so much your POV and the beautiful landscape as a background.
Very impressive the height that they were, seen in your workshop, really not a safest place to drink a cup of wine, but definetly a very exiting one!
Perhaps it have been interesting to have a more open apperture, in order to blur a little the background to put it away and stand up the couple.
Anyways I like so much the photo!

Wow, spectacular capture of this scene, Knut. You sure got a great POV, but their POV is even better :)) but it doesn't seem safe at all, specially with the wine...The composition is really good and it also seems that you got the rush hour on the bridge. Thanks for the useful complementar image in WS. Someone on the right side is 'sleeping' under the sun...

Hello Knut, this is a privileged point of view over the city. Well composed, the presence of the couple adds interest and perspective. The bridge, but also the row of cars, gently draw our attention to the background. A sort of clockwise 90° rotated H. Good work.

These two are risking it sitting there but are oblivious to the world around them. They are a considerable height from the roadway below. (have been there). I have a sense of balancing on the edge just viewing this. You have captured the moment perfectly.

Excellent point de vue, au dessus du tunnel, pour admirer le magnifique pont et la ville. Beaucoup de traafic, autant sur la route que sur l'eau. Très bonne qualité d'image et superbes couleurs.
