Here in the shadow, the green colour of ice was less visible. It was not possible to come closer and to research :). I tried to find something in Google and I found only this
but I do not think it is the case.

There is really no evidence of green here, very peculiar. The landscape takes on an abstract feel with the distinct colouring. Very good composition and very well realised.

I actually see a lot of green patches of ice, and apart from that I see a dramatic scenery of steep rocks. It's a well exposed photo with strong contrasts between the shady parts and the very bright area in the centre.

J'aime beaucoup l'atmosphère qui se dégage de cette composition. C'est très froid au niveau des couleurs. Le bleu prend l'avantage sur la lumière dorée sur la falaise.

A beautiful snow scene, even without much green. I'm a bit worried about how blue the snow looks so I've done a workshop to try to ease back on the blue (not something I do very often).

Hello Malgo,
So iron oxides in rock could be the answer.
In the sunlight the green colour is clearly visible.
I really like the light and the colours in general of this splendid nature view.
Defying the cold has yielded great images.
And no grey skies there!

I appreciate the play between the lighted and shadowed areas. The point of view is showing the details of the mountains. The reflection of the light on the snow has a good effect on the colours. Have a nice day.
