I planned to show more pictures from UK but it seems you are not interested so I return to Iceland.

Seeing from a distance, Lóndrangar looks like a huge castle reaching out to the sea. Lóndrangar are uniquely formed basalt volcanic dykes sticking out from the ocean and are the remains of a crater, which has been eroded to its present form by the sea. Lóndrangar consists of two pillars or stacks, one of 75m and the other one of 61m. They are located on the southern part of Snæfellsnes peninsula in west Iceland.
These majestic sea stacks are really impressive reaching out surrounded by rough lava covered with snow. The cliffs are high and steep and when looking down the only thing you see are wild waves smashing on the rocks. Both puffins and fulmars nest there but unfortunately, not in winter. As with almost every special place in Iceland, there are stories to tell and for this special area it is said that the farmers there never made or make hay on the hill, because it's said to belong to the elves living there and of course we don’t want to disturb the elves.

Wow, what an amazing place with the most gorgeous shapes of nature, covered here by a charming layer of snow. The partly cloudy sky and the warm sidelight also provided the ideal circumstances.

To rzeczywiscie daje pole do wyobrazni, mozesz zobaczyc tu tajemnicze zamki lub stwory. Bardzo ladne zdjecie.
PS. To nie brak zainteresowania Twoimi zdjeciami, to coraz mniej uczestników na Treku, zajrzalem do Treklensa, tam zostalo juz chyba tylko 5-6 osob. Ja tez juz traktuje te strone jako moj album zdjeciowy.

Hello Malgo,
62 points in two days for the same building sounds like many were quite interested. But no doubt the wild Icelandic scenery is more fascinating. The light and clouds, rocks and snow create a very dramatic view, and you captured this in two very well taken and technically fine photos looking like 19th century paintings.

Ciao Malgo,in effect nothing compare the pic of Iceland with the british buildings for me,so i agree with your choice..hehehe...and the show is fantastic,also it seems to see in a frozen Scotland with a castle in ruin..ahaha..great capture and amazing show made by the sun in the WS. The distance between the shore and the horizon is creating depth. The point of view is showing the details of the Longdrangar rocks formation. The light is giving good rendering of the colours. Have a nice day.

Hello Malgo,
The sharp rocks could also be the ruins of an old castle. This would be more likely in Scotland.
What a beautiful light on the foreground and on the rocks on the right!
The terraces of the landscape in the middle look impressive.
Excellent composition.
On the picture in the WS I got the impression of travelling through a desert.

This has magical feeling with low angle winter sunshine, snow that has funny marks of drifting and extremely rough and rocky edge of the sea. Full size image appears oversharp, but TE standard view looks just right.
