Photographer's Note

Still in Hveradalir valley in Kerlingarfjöll mounains in the center of Iceland. Same scene as my previous shot, but horizontal format for this one. I couldn't make a choice between the two formats, so I post twice !

Hello Olivier,
another shot of a very dramatic landscape,the swirling clouds above and amongst the mountains add real atmosphere to the scene with the shadows also making a contribution.

Bonjour Olivier,

Tout compte fait, je préfère celle-ci à la précédente. Le format paysage permet au regard d'embrasser une plus vaste partie de ce splendide panorama.
La lumière est vraiment exceptionnelle.

Hello Olivier,

Good composition and the horizontal frame suits perfectly. I like the shadows thrown into the caldera. Excellent warm cold color contrasts between the sulfurous yellow and the blue sky. Good contrast, density and saturation. Tfs!

J'aime cette version , une vue plus étendue, fantastique par ces formations et ces couleurs, que la lumière fait ressortir ainsi que ces détails, en somme c'est un paysage tout a fait extraordinaire, c'est splendide
