Photographer's Note

Time to get back to my favourite theme, abandoned places.

This time I'm also back to one of my favourite countries, Iceland.

I know this isn't everyone's cup of tea, but how boring would life be if we all had the same interests.

Most, if not all of the abandoned homes I found in Iceland are unplanned. Driving the back roads you'll find even more of them. Just as I did here.
I wish I counted how many times I pulled over to the side of the road to capture and investigate these homes.

I tried very hard to get inside this home, but it was locked shut, very tightly, with large locks to keep people out. That was disappointing, but what could I do?

Add this home to another one of Iceland's mysteries, its a secret she will not give up, and thats all apart of the allure for me.

In the WS are 2 more photos. A close up, and one from way back, the type of view I'd see from my car as i'm driving around hunting for these homes.

Hopefully you'll appreciate this
