I haven't seen before the hays and snow at the same time on fields,and for this reason many times I say about Iceland that is a wonderland
The frozen grass in foreground shows how cold it was here in that day
The white mountain in background looks very tall and maybe once I will trek there :)

Wonderful shot, with a very crisp feeling to it from the snow and the amazing sharpness. I see that you also like the centred composition - no doubt you will get some people writing to tell you that the mountain should be to one side or the other (rule of thirds) but I like it right where it is. I'm also experimenting with other composition ratios. Excellent work!

Fantastic again, Anes, what a wide view with a white conical mountain which looks like Mt. Fuji! It is well placed in the center, against the rules, but rules are made to be broken and in this case it works! Also the multilayer composition works very well with these incredible white haystacks dispersed throughout the midframe. Would be terrific as a large print, I think. Great work! (if I'm picky here, I'd crop a bit of the sky from top, this might deepen the composition further... but I'm not picky seeing this beauty...:)

Hi Anellise!
This sight can be described only with a big “WOW!”. Fantastic shot of a phantasmagoric, ice cold landscape. Is this spectacular view a part of your daily life? Does this appear when you raise your curtains in the morning or when you leave home for work?
I have to admit, that Iceland was not very high on my “must-visit-countries” list a short while ago. But due to your photos it is climbing up gradually.

Hello Anellise,
This is a great image with the mountains, fields, and snow. One item that may have helped the balance of the image would have been to place the tallest mountain on the left third and the remaining image would fall into place as it is. I do not know what was to the right beyond the sight line in the scene, but try never to place the center piece of a scene directly in the middle of the image.
Iceland looks as if you could walk for miles and never see many people.
I imagine that it could be a True Wonderland...

You lives in a fantasti photographic country, special for landscape photographers Anes. the pov is good here, for myself I would crop it from the left side a piece to held the mountoain more out of the middle of the shot for a better composition, but ofcoarse that is personal, good photojob, have a nice evening.

The hays looks an artistic sculpture made with snow. Great landscape with the great mount on the background, it has a name?
How did you go to these kind os place, it looks very isolated.

Encore une très belle photo. Paysage magnifique, rendu de lumière excellent, qualité technique de haut niveau.
Mais, comme votre paysage "lunaire" d'hier, on dirait que vous oubliez l'importance de la règle des tiers... à moins que ce soit un choix artistique? Choix que je respecte bien sûr; mais ici que je ne partage pas. Je vous propose un Workshop...

I like this with the mountain exactly where it is, rule or not, there is the smaller top on the left to counter balance its central position. Also WITH the hay bales, it is something I had never seen before either. Therefore the workshop that has been done does not appeal to me:-), sorry:-)
