Photographer's Note
This was taken in the small Blarney village, just around the corner from the famous castle. Much of the town has probably sprung up because of all the tourists visiting the castle (I saw a Thai food restaurant alongside a traditional Irish pub, for example, which I hadn't seen anywhere but Dublin) but the photo demonstrates that daily life still goes on among long-time inhabitants. I liked the contrast of this bright and cheery church among the rather stark and drab headstones in this cemetery.
