Cet oiseau montre un oeil suspicieux et inquiet dirait-on. Cela dit, la photo est superbe, le cadrage fait apparaitre une jolie baie, les couleurs sont délicieuses.

Very wonderful capture you done of that landscape - together with the boat makes this a good shot - but the gull makes it perfect and the gull also what justify the high sky you got - thanks Danny continue the great work of yours.

Vey nice point of view! I like it very much. The different stages (the seagull on the rock, the boat, the island, the coast, the sky) make a very nice composition and give a great depth to the picture. Of course you could have chosen an horizontal format, but giving a lot of space to the sky is a great idea. A picture that makes me travel! And the colors and light are great.

Nice perspective, sharpness and colors.
The sky looks good, the boat goes the right way and the seagull is very nice.

I've been wondering about the 12-25 Sigma for by Canon 300D - this shot makes the purchase irresistable! Oh well, another 'discussion' with the wife about the cost of my hobby!

King Gull looking at his kingdom.
Composition wise everything works great in this picture, gull looking into the picture, boat linking the island with the mainland, scenery very interesting, focal point well defined.
Bit of a noise and part of the bird is overexposed, the main thing that somewhat bothers me is the bottom left corner being out of focus. Unfortunately this corner can't be croped off without afecting the whole picture.
Love the image even though has couple of flaws.

I love your "Gull" photo. It is a great shot with the bird in the foreground and the ocean in the back and most people aren't brave enough to fill most of the frame with the sky, but I'm glad you did since it is great.

Bela foto Danny! Aqui, temos uma certa admiração por seu país, apesar de não conhecê-lo pessoalmente. Há algum tempo atrás, fizemos uma regressão às vidas passadas e nos vimos no seu país por volta de 1860. Desta forma reconhecemos um pouco da paisagem e de seus costumes. Não é curioso?...Abraço do Brasil!

Excellent composition here, Danny! Nice bright colours The bended shape in the foreground seems to continue in the lighter clouds up in the sky. The seagull seems to think: 'hey what the heck are you doing laying on my eggs?!' ...Did you?
