The great monastery in Clonmacnois was founded in 548-9 by St. Ciaran.
Beautiful church, two round towers and three high crosses.
Now Clonmacnois looks not so good. Big parts of the ruins are covered by the ugly white fabric.
The most famous high crosses were
placed inside the museum. So I took another part of ruins.
Not very known, but original and interesting, specially in rainy weather.

Wow, what an angle :) I like the way the wall has "cropped" the view! And the contrest between the green grass and everithing else is awesome! :)

Voila un angle bien intéressant et original ! La saturation fait ressortir le coté mystique. Très bon choix !
