Photographer's Note
Kylemore Abbey, located in the Kylemore Pass in Connemara, County Galway, has been home to the Irish Benedictine nuns since 1920. The Benedictine nuns bought the house in 1920, having fled their convent in war-torn Belgium in 1914, where they ran a boarding school for girls for over 300 years. They re-established the school here and it is still very much alive today.
Set in the heart of Connemara, Kylemore Abbey shares its woodlands, lakes and rivers with a large variety of birds and animals. A trip to the west of Ireland is not complete without experiencing the beauty and tranquility of Kylemore Abbey and Gardens.

Bonjour Stephen
Très belle composition de cette abbaye. Belle luminosité, beaux reflets. Les pierres sont un très bon 1er plan.
Merci pour le partage.

Très belle photos !
Beaux reflets, belles couleurs ...
Le seul point négatif pourrait se porter sur les algues du premier plan sur les pierres qui ne sont pas très porteuse de rève.

Hello Stephen,
A nice ultra wide angle view, the distorsion on the castle is heavy!
Nice foreground.

Hi Stephen. A different pov on the abbey and a really good one with those rocks seeming to point at it. The colour and light are good, but I think the abbey itself is a little distorted, tilting slightly and strangely to the left. Excellent quality, though, on iso200. I can't get that sort of finish on my FZ5 at that rating.

Andrew

Hi,
What you present is a really nice picture taken from interesting point of view. I believe the colrs could be more saturated but on the other hand due to their cold tonation they suit well whole scene. Rocks are well situated so they catch eyes and balance the overall compo. Well done!
