Blue hour at Lecce Duomo. Lecce is an attractive Baroque town on the heel of the Italian peninsula. The piazza is square shaped and it was not possible to go back any further with a wall behind me. This is the cathedral (duomo) taking up 2 sides of the square.

Hello Chris,
A fine photo from the blue hour. From this angle we see the tower rising quite dramatically against the darkening sky. The illumination of various parts of the tower and façades create a fine atmosphere. You cropped the photo nicely and managed the sharpness well in the difficult light.

Hello Chris,
The cathedral nicely fills the frame with the well placed bell tower making an excellent focal point. Very good light management and superb colour contrasts with finely rendered decorative detail. I think you will find duomo means cathedral in Italian rather than piazza.

Le cadrage serré met la cathédrale en évidence. La prise de vue permet de voir les détails de l'architecture de la cathédrale de Lecce. La lumière de l'heure bleue a un effet spécial sur les couleurs de l'image. Bonne journée.

A l'heure de la lumière bleue cet édifice prend une autre dimension.
L'architecture et la décoration (sculptures) sont toujours aussi impressionnantes.
