Photographer's Note

Yesterday I went as usual to Spilimbergo swimming pool.
There were so many people, expecially young boys and girls, that I decided to wait before going in.

It was pity that I had no camera to capture sun and shadow and people in the water! Suddenly I remember that I could try to shot using my mobile phone.
This is what I got.

Hello Livia,

Very interesting shot. It is like a dream, we can image many things looking to this play of light on the waters.
Especially, I like the composition with the leaps and mouths just on the borders of the frame giving a kind of anchor for the eyes in the frame.

Non conosco la qualità del tuo telefonino, ma mi sembra un ottimo risultato, mi piace molto intravvedere i bimbi e cogge d'acqua sospese, ottimi anche i colori e la luce; se volevi dimostrare che le idee contano contano di più del mezzo ci sei riuscita ! Brava

unusuall but excellent capture. The airborne droplets are phantastic.

The photo would seem almost abstract if there wasn't a smile on the lower left.

Cara Silvia, I am impressed by the quality of your phone, this photo is really great ! Your title is a bit chilling, because as a child "monitor" (as we say in French), when I was in my 20s, I almost drowned, pushed by friends for too long under water, although a swimmer in a club - was claustrophobic for some years after that... Fantastic colours and movement, bravissima ! I'll add it to my theme...

If 1 miljard people start shooting with their celphone, and believe me, many are proud to have the latest one, in India it must be Nokia, then still the better will float to top like this one hé Livia :), what a colordepht in the watertexturing, one day we'll all be shooting with only a cellphone as they are the real market to devellop, a lot will be invested to stay on top of this easy selling thing in the third world. It is still an art to chose the better ones in your own archive.
