Photographer's Note
Well if this photo doesn't make people want to go to Rome and see the famous fountain of Trevi then I'll eat my hat. I was particularly happy with the result. A VERY slow shutter speed as well (1/3 sec), yet quite a sharp image.

I've seen Trevi in person, but you've really captured it! I wish my photos of it had turned out this well! It's so clear and I love the shadows.
I find the yellow building to the left a bit distracting, but otherwise it is very nice. The water looks great.
Cheers, Nichelle

Hi Paul,
Trevi's fountain is familiar to me, because every day I cross that square going to my work. It is allways crowded with people and tourist, so I know the worst side of that fantastic monument. This picture, (taken late by night , I suppose) give me a diffent, and more beautiful, view of Trevi's fountain.
Thank you for sharing it.

The trevi is a big fountain isnt it? The angle is a good way to capture all of the fountain and still show some of the surroundings. Its a gorgeous spot in Rome.

Definitly! I was there when they did some renovation or cleaning and had all these construction drapes over the statue and other equipment in the fountain. I could not get a decent shot, of course, but this one makes me want to go back today!! You captured what one feels when there - romantic!

Apparemment tu as reussi a t'imiscer dans la foule...a non la chance, y a pas grand monde ;o)

Serwus Paul !
This is absolutely wonderful shot of this amazing place in Rome.
I saw many photos from here - most of them taken by daylight - not so interesting, and these ones taken by night - often not so good.
Your "picture" has excellent quality, sharpness and light. Colors - very Italian.
Great job !

Yes, it's a pretty good image indeed. Well chosen shutter speed. Nice, steady hand at 1/3 sec! Your camera has an antishake mechanism, right? I appreciate the way you managed to take a picture without getting a bunch of tourists in the frame. I was there in the middle of the day, and it was difficult to get close to the water...

A very beautiful and known place, and very well captured. Night shots are difficult, in addition, including different zones of light, but here you achieved it perfectly. I suppose you used a tripode. Of course the fountain is the main motive of the shot, but I also like to see the light reflection on the water of the yellow light on the left side.
The sharpness of the whole scene is impressive. Very good work.
Best regards Paul.
Jaume.

Hi Paul, for a view that is seen so often, I think this is very good. Much better than what I took in 1999. But you have the night and lights and your angle is good. I love the lights in the water. Well captured, thank you.

Hola Paul. Me agrada mucho los colores y la nitidez de tú foto. No se si el encuadre podría haber sido un poco mejor. Pero el resultado en general es bastante bueno la verdad.
