The orc, a photo from Viterbo, Lazio

Photographer's Note

The park of Monsters of Bomarzo (not far from Viterbo and Orvieto) was designed by the architect Pirro Ligorio in 1552 on commision of Prince Pier Francesco Orsini, who wanted to create a sort of garden of wonders: in fact this park is the only one of it's kind in the world.
A visit to the park consists in a series of stages ranging between mythology and fantasy. One of the most beautiful and evocative creations is the Orc!
The big head with wide open eyes in a moment of loud screaming, not of terror but terrorising, has an open mouth where you can find a table and benches to eat your lunch!

I like how you focus on the mouth, how you don't show the whole "sculpture", but let the stairs in the foreground for scale. Good note, I like a lot that park, there's a lot of "space" foe phantasy.

An interesting piece of achitecture, it's good you left some of the stairs, it adds some context.

I like the framing on the scream. I just imagine how many tourists you must have killed to get the sculpture's picture empty, which gives to it a real dramatic impact. But you're not exactly right if you think this is the only park of that kind in the world: have a look in the workshop.

gran bella foto, il parco e le sue meravigliem eriterebbero più popolarità e diffusione (anche qui su TE).
Mi piace il taglio della foto che mette in evidenza le aperture della bocca e degli occhi. Molto buoni anche i colori, il contrasto ed il punto di vista leggermente disassato.

This is a very graphical image - I like the tight crop you made of the monster's face, it looks great.
Tech details are very good - sharpness, contrast and colors.
